Its been a crooked path

My passion working with clay began while I was at West Virginia University. After taking a few class I was hooked and changed my major! After earning my BFA I moved to Virginia to attend Virginia Commonwealth University for my MFA. I taught classes as a grad student and continued as an Adjunct Professor teaching night classes, raising kids, having a studio in the garage making work when I could. After12 years of commuting up and down I95 and kids all in school, it made me stop and think about the next part of my journey. An art teaching position opened up in the local school system, I decided that was where I needed to be at that point in time and put the dream of having a business on the back burner. 25 years later, I’ve decided it was now time to make this business happen.

I hope you enjoy my work.
